Daytona Beach, Fla. – DME Academy proudly recognizes alumnus Moustapha Thiam after a dominant performance that powered the unranked Cincinnati Bearcats men’s basketball team to a stunning 84–68 victory over No. 8 Kansas Jayhawks at Allen Fieldhouse on Saturday, February 21.
Thiam led all scorers with 28 points, shooting an efficient 11-of-17 from the field and 2-of-5 from three-point range, while adding eight rebounds in just 30 minutes. His poised and powerful performance fueled one of the biggest upsets of the college basketball season.
