Daytona Beach, Fla. – The DME Academy Girls National Basketball Team continued its dominant run this past weekend, improving to 15–0 overall and 6–0 in conference play after a challenging multi-state road trip.
DME opened the weekend in Indiana, competing in a highly charged environment against a future teammate of GiGi Battle, with a packed crowd of Indiana fans creating a playoff-like atmosphere. The team responded with composure and resilience, earning a hard-fought victory on the road.
The girls then traveled to Kentucky for conference action, where they secured two more wins with strong performances against Hamilton Heights and Example Prep, maintaining their perfect conference record.
Now, the focus shifts to Atlanta, where DME will continue conference play with two more games this week. One matchup carries added significance, as the girls will face a familiar opponent from the World Championship, a game in which DME previously came up just one point short. The rematch promises to be one of the most anticipated games of the season.
With momentum building and key matchups ahead, DME Academy Girls National Basketball remains focused on growth, consistency, and maintaining its standard of excellence as the season progresses.
