This camp is designed with the elite player in mind. The athlete must have played on the DME 15 or 16 black or blue team to participate in this camp. Any other athlete that would like to join this camp must have permission from director. This will be a fast-paced camp with high level skills and drills aimed at high school sophomores and juniors.
Our elite field house is home to our basketball, volleyball and performance training areas. With more than 47,000 square feet our professionally maintained facility has the latest training equipment and technology for athletes. Our facility boasts 2 full NBA courts, 5 youth courts, 7 regulation volleyball courts, a performance center, athletic training rooms and a spa.
With 4 sand/beach volleyball courts on site and a 60x40 turf field used for soccer and outdoor performance training, the DME Academy continues to expand. We also have access to 14 beach volleyball courts on Daytona Beach.
We welcome all players ranging from 15-16 years of age.
The cost of this program is $175.
Athletes must have played club volleyball at the elite level for either DME Sports or another Club. This will be verified! This will be a very fast-paced camp and athletes must be able to keep up.
Friday night will be 6-9pm, while Saturday & Sunday will be 9-12

DME Summer Camp Staff: School Administrators, Teachers, Coaches, and College Students that have grown up in the summer camp program. We follow 1:20 ratio on campus and 1:10 ratio off-campus. It is our Director's 11th year and Co-Director's 8th year running this camp.
Campers should come equipped to play both indoor and outdoor sports each day. On our skating days at the ice arena, each camper should wear cold-weather clothing. Campers are encouraged to bring a water bottle and sunscreen.
Campers will be assigned lockers. Any belongings will be kept there. Additional snacks are always encouraged. Any electronics brought to camp will be at your own risk. DME is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen items.
All campers will need to fill out our Mandatory Waiver Form. This will need to be filled out and E-signed during the registration process, by a Parent/Guardian.
Breakfast usually consists of the following:
one juice, one milk, muffin, pop tart, breakfast bars or cereal
Lunch usually consists of the following:
1 juice, 1 milk, PBJ, turkey sub, Lunchables, apple or banana, apple sauce, cheese stick etc.
We also provide an afternoon snack each day.
Our 2023 field trip calendar is not yet available. Field trips are not included in the cost of camp and the schedule is subject to change.
Halifax Health will provide a medical advisory council consisting of 5 members. Physicians and community health managers will meet with DME leadership and advise on all health protocols and provide up to date and newly established injury research.
Halifax Health will provide a liaison for injured DME Academy students-athletes.
Halifax Health will provide fitness assessments on all incoming DME Academy student-athletes upon request as well as provide nutrition education once per season, per sport.
Halifax Health will provide annual Basic Life Saving Skills training for DME staff and coaches as well as make telemedicine services available to DME Academy student-athletes at usual and customary rates.
Halifax Health will provide medical personnel at select DME events.

DME Academy is hosting an end of the year tournament featuring competitive competition. The tournament will take place over two days from March 3rd-5th.
Each team is guaranteed a minimum of three games at our elite 47,000 square foot field house in Daytona Beach.
Our elite field house is home to our basketball, volleyball and performance training areas. With more than 47,000 square feet our professionally maintained facility has the latest training equipment and technology for athletes.
Our facility boasts 2 full NBA courts, 5 youth courts, 7 regulation volleyball courts, a performance center, athletic training rooms and a spa.
We work closely with Pellucid Travel to not only source the best hotels but contract with a variety of hotels to fit all accommodations. We request to work with a wide variety of lodging partners in order to also secure excellent rates for all of our teams. In order to achieve this, we have a Stay to Play policy so that the hotels, cities, and counties are assured that the discounts they offer are used. We work closely with our lodging partners to track team reservations and the stay to play policy as well as ensure that there are enough rooms for all teams attending the event.
