JUCO Jamboree 2025

DME Academy Hosts Inaugural JUCO Jamboree, Drawing Over 100 College Coaches and Elite Competition

Daytona Beach, Fla. – This past weekend (Oct. 4-5), DME Academy hosted its first-ever JUCO Jamboree, welcoming nine teams from across the region for a showcase of top-tier basketball talent. The event drew more than 100 college coaches, with over half representing high-major Division I programs, underscoring the growing national recognition of DME’s basketball excellence.

DME’s National Team delivered a dominant performance, going 2-0 on the weekend with both victories coming by 25 points or more against highly regarded junior college opponents. The strong showing offered an early preview of a team that is quickly earning attention as one of the most competitive programs in the country this season.

The DME Prep Team also made its mark, finishing 1-1 and displaying impressive skill, depth, and resilience against tough competition they’ll encounter throughout the season. Both squads demonstrated the discipline and teamwork that define DME’s approach to player development and program culture.

The inaugural event was organized by Coach Michael Panaggio, whose vision and leadership helped ensure a first-class experience for both athletes and attending college programs.

“It was an unbelievable inaugural JUCO jamboree,” said Coach Panaggio. “It was great visibility, it was great exposure, and it was great competition for our ladies to be able to play college girls.”

The success of the JUCO Jamboree reflects DME Academy’s continued commitment to providing high-level competition and exposure opportunities for its athletes while strengthening relationships with college programs nationwide.
