Reporting Child Abuse
Any person who knows, or has reasonable cause to suspect, that a child is abused, abandoned, or neglected by a parent, legal custodian, caregiver, or other person responsible for the child's welfare is a mandatory reporter. The supervisor must be notified of the reported suspected abuse. Florida Reporting Information In accordance with Florida Statute 39.201(1)(a), Any suspected child abuse must be reported by calling 1-800-96ABUSE. Reporting to the hotline is anonymous.

Reporting Misconduct by Employees, Educational Support, and Administrators
All employees, educational support, and administrators have an obligation to report misconduct by instructional personnel and school administrators, which affects the health, safety, or welfare of a student. Examples of misconduct include obscene language, drug and alcohol use, disparaging comments, prejudice or bigotry, sexual innuendo, cheating or testing violations, physical aggression, and accepting or offering favors. Reports of employee misconduct should be made to April Kelley, Dean of Academic Administration at DME Academy.
Reports of misconduct committed by administrators should be made to Dan Panaggio, CEO and Co-Founder of DME Academy.
Legally sufficient allegations of misconduct by Florida-certified educators will be reported to the Office of Professional Practices Services. Policies and procedures for reporting misconduct by instructional personnel or school administrators that affect the health, safety, or welfare of a student are posted on the school’s bulletin board.
