Dr. Brent Goldman is a visionary educational leader with 25 years of experience in the K12 for-profit education field. He has a unique skill set in creating new private schools, growing them, and providing a pathway to the next level for aspiring student-athletes.
María Cristina earned a master’s in education with a concentration in Biology from the University of West Alabama. Maria Cristina is a Puerto Rican native and has taught for 18 years. Throughout her career, she has taught ESL, Life Science, Earth Science, Physics, and Comprehensive Science. Mrs. Burgos is passionate about education and the opportunities that it can provide to her students.
Dave is a graduate of The University of Central Florida and began teaching back in 2007 as a middle school science teacher. Over the past 15 years, he has taught nearly every discipline in science, from regular classes to AP- and IB-level classes, as well as middle and high school English and social studies. A lifelong learner, he loves to instill the thirst for knowledge in his students.
Allison earned her B.A. in English & Secondary Education and M.Ed. in Exceptional Student Education from Stetson University. She has also earned her Reading and ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) endorsements. Allison is a nineteen-year veteran educator who strives to create an inviting atmosphere of mutual respect to foster student learning.
Born and raised in Germany, Connie received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida, Cum Laude. She currently teaches Middle School Science; though she has previously taught maths and sciences at public schools and other private schools in Volusia County.
Connie enjoys teaching science because it “takes you from the tiniest living and nonliving thing on Earth all the way to outer space!” There is so much to learn and discover, and she is passionate about leading her students to their own discoveries.
Elisabet earned her B.A. in Education from the University of Puerto Rico. A Puerto Rican native, Elisabet has worked in the Daytona Beach area as a teacher for 15+ years. She loves teaching and helping her students achieve their dreams and goals.
Robie Sprouse graduated with a Master in Political Science from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln, and an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from Doane University in Nebraska. He has been working in education for over 10 years and got his start as a graduate assistant working with future teachers on the Omaha, Santee, and Winnebago Reservations. He also spent two summers on the Rosebud and Pine Ridge Reservations working as a youth counselor. He has taught middle school, high school, and college courses on Government, US & World History, Holocaust History, Cultural Geography, and the History of the Vietnam War.
Dr. Anna Gonzalez brings more than 17 years of experience as an educator to Xceed DME Academy. Anna has a PhD in Economics and Business from her native country, Italy. She has experience at the middle school, high school, and college levels, as well as an exceptional understanding of how to blend the online and traditional school settings into our dynamic hybrid model.
Elaina Johnson has worked in the Florida educational system as a Career and Technical Educator helping students understand career opportunities available to them in a wide range of industries. The subject areas she has taught include Tourism and Hospitality, Fashion Technology, A/V Media Studies, and Business Education. She is DME’s high school electives teacher.
Vanessa Graulich is a math content developer from Caracas, Venezuela. She has published over 5 math books and 1000 online tutorials in statistics, economics, and calculus AB/BC. She graduated from Florida International University in Business Finance, in Miami, Florida. She has taught English and Math in China. In her spare time, she loves to practice Taekwondo and compete in tournaments. She has a King Snake called Sunshine.
Hugo Santos is DME’s English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher. He got both his undergraduate and masters degrees (in Foreign Languages and Comparative Literature) from the Federal University of Pernambuco, Brazil. Teaching for more than 25 years, in 2017 he got his PhD degree in Education by Auburn University, Alabama, whose focus was the relationship between different learning styles and second language acquisition. Over the past 10 years he has been developing his activities along with international students, as a teacher and advisor. He is also author of the awarded Brazilian short story book “Um Céu Imenso” (“An Immense Sky”).
Judy Williamson has been teaching for 10 years both at the college and high school level. She has her masters in Religious Studies with a focus on Hinduism and Caribbean Religions and her Bachelors is in history and religious studies. She has spent several summers teaching college classes in China both in person and online.
Aaron is a graduate of Eastern Illinois University. He has been teaching for twenty-six years at the middle and high school levels. His favorite part of teaching math is seeing his students’ confidence increase as they grasp difficult concepts.
