About Mike

Mike Panaggio’s commitment to sports and leadership started early, as both a coach’s kid and an elite athlete. Mike played college basketball at SUNY Brockport while his dad was Head Coach. Mike broke multiple basketball school records and was eventually inducted into the SUNY Brockport Athletics Hall of Fame, like his dad, Mauro Panaggio. After college, Mike played a year in the CBA where his team won the league championship, and he made the All-Star team. After basketball, Mike grew his company DME from a start-up employing seven people in 1984, into one of Florida’s most innovative marketing companies, which currently employs hundreds of associates. His success with DME led him to create DME Delivers, DME Visual, DME Digital, and other companies that form DME Brands. Mike understands what makes DME successful is its employees. He leads by example – working as hard as possible while staying humble. In 2015, Mike founded DME Academy, in Daytona Beach, Florida. The Academy’s goal is to better serve the local sports community and elite youth athletes from around the world. Mike is as passionate about business as he is about sports. He is always looking for new opportunities and enjoys learning from elite business people and athletes alike.
