Becoming a member of the National Honors Society is no small feat. The NHS has been built on four pillars, scholarship, leadership, service and character since its inception in 1921. To become inducted into the NHS students have to meet a few key criteria. NHS students make it a priority to give back to their local communities as well as having good grades. To become inducted, students must complete 1,000 hours of school or community service, raise $26,000 in charitable donations, donate 1,000 pounds of food to local, state or national causes and lastly donate 100 pints of blood to those in need.

It is with great honor that we are able to announce that 5 star students from DME made it onto the 2022 National Honors Society list and 2 of our younger students made it onto the National Juniors Honors Society.
