When I started playing golf by the influence of my Grandfather at the age of 15, I never thought I would develop such a deep passion for the game, teaching and the fitness aspect of golf. I played professionally for just under 2 years until an injury guided me into a different direction in the industry. My teaching career in golf started in Cape Cod, Massachusetts then opportunities to advance my teaching have taken me to other locations such as Connecticut, Boston, New York, Orlando, Chicago, Clearwater and now Daytona Beach, Florida. As a LPGA Professional since 2002, I have worked with all levels and ages of players and I am dedicated to each player to assist them in exceeding the expectations of their golf game. I do this by working on mechanics that best fit them as an individual and finding a personalized fitness routine to build strength & flexibility so they may enjoy this great game for their entire lives. Currently, I am a Level 3 Certified Junior TPI Instructor (Titleist Performance Institute), Golf Fitness Trainer and a Personal Trainer which is a huge part of my golf instruction. I established Murphy’s Golf & Fitness in 2007. My focus is on the student’s goals and their individuality.
