The Foundation For Success

Dawn Moses is the Director of Indoor Club Volleyball at DME Academy.

Dawn retired from Teaching in 2015 after a 30-year career in Physical Education, Health, and Elementary Education.

Dawn was a volleyball 1st referee in Ohio for 18 years and became a student of the game.  She learned from some of the best coaches out there and the game became her passion. She coached HS for 26 years, and was a Club Director in Ohio for 12 years, prior to stepping into the Club Director at DME in 2015.

Coach Dawn has coached for an AVCA 400 win club, 2008 State Championship Division I (Ohio) and the first public school to win that championship, Vice President OHSVCA District II, OHSVCA State Trustee, 10- time District Coach of the Year, 8-time Conference Coach of the Year. Coached 17 All-Ohio Players.

Dawn enjoys coaching because of the impact great coaches made in her life. She loves working with young people and having the opportunity to guide them in two of the most important games they will ever play: life and sports. 

 

Director of Academy and Beach Volleyball

Coach Craig_Beach VB Director

DME Academy announced the hiring of Craig Lenniger as the Director of Beach Volleyball. Craig will supervise the day-to-day operations of DME Academy’s beach volleyball programs, as well as host all DME Academy Beach Tournaments. Craig joins DME Academy from the Flagler County Parks & Recreation Department, where he serves as the Special Event Coordinator and has managed sports and recreation programs for the past 6 years. 

Craig’s 25 years of sports and recreation programming experience will have a great impact on DME Academy.

Director of Coaches/Master Coach

Alvaro Sanchez is the  Director of Coaches/Master Coach for DME Academy. 
He has been coaching volleyball for 17+ years. He is originally from Miami, Florida and attended Florida International University where he played Men’s Club. 
His coaching journey is varied across High School, Club and Collegiate programs. He has coached at the NCAA D1 level for both the Florida International University and Bethune-Cookman University. 
Since joining the DME Academy family, Coach Alvaro has qualified with our 14’s in 2019 and 15's in 2021. Additionally, he was honored in 2017 with the AVCA Diversity Award.
