DME Alumni and Iowa's current player Keegan Murray continues to be one of the more exciting players in the Big Ten Conference. Murray attended DME last season and is the 10th Hawkeye to be voted to the five-player All-Freshman Team since the honor was first introduced in 2003.

Murray played in all 27 of his college games, including starting four contests. He is the team’s leading scorer (7.8 ppg.) and rebounder (5.5) off the bench in conference play. Murray is second on the team in total steals (24) and ranks 11th overall in the Big Ten in blocked shots per game (1.1).

"We are so proud of Keegan and his accomplishments. We knew he was going to do great things the moment he walked on campus. He is a mature leader already as a freshman and he is going to do even more for his career. Coach Wesam said.

Iowa was ranked #2 in their conference this season and lost to Oregon (#7) in the second round on Monday, March 22nd.
