DME’s Beach & Ball Classic Takes the International Scene by Storm

Over 47 teams took to Daytona Beach for DME Academy’s 4th annual Beach & Ball Classic. Some of the biggest names in the game came out to play, including  Speights Academy, SPIRE Academy, Miami Prep, Combine Academy, and IMG Academy. Teams traveled far and wide to ball out at DME Academy’s world-renowned field house, including teams from across the United States, Canada, and the Bahamas.

“The Beach & Ball Classic has become a staple event in the high school and post-grad basketball community, and this year’s tournament really made a splash on an international level,” said Matt Panaggio, Tournament Director. “We’re so lucky to have the facilities required to run a top-notch tournament here at DME Academy, and it’s an honor to be able to host so many amazing teams on our home court.” The 47,000 square foot field house at DME Academy features 3 basketball courts, a performance center, athletic training rooms, and all of the amenities required to host a best-in-class event.
